Welcome Baby Ellie to the world! Our friends had their beautiful baby girl last Wednesday and we got the pleasure of meeting her yesterday. Mom and Dad are doing great and are fairing well with all the new parenthood duties. Congratulations!!
After being snowed in last week, we enjoyed a gorgeous weekend outside in the sun. It was in the 80's here and Kate got to wear her sun hat for the first time. We also enjoyed several long walks with Tucker and sitting out on our back deck with wine glass in hand!
Kate is trying to sit up. If we prop her with some pillows or hold her hand, she can do it. She seems to have no desire to roll from her back to her belly yet. She likes to just lay on her back holding on to her feet and squeal and laugh.

Note the face...it seems to be another signature look of her's that I have captured on camera a few times. You can see that she is trying very hard to sit up here!
