I am 27 weeks!

I just returned from being home for a few days and got to celebrate this baby at a wonderful shower that some dear friends threw for me. It was really fun to see everyone and I got precious gifts for Baby Kate.

The Belly Bump Shot! My friend Kelly and I are due within 10 days of each other! Its been fun to compare bellies :). We're carrying just a tad bit differently!

I am now 27 weeks along and entering my 3rd trimester. Its really been flying by and we have a lot to do in the nursery before we are ready. Mike is currently painting my red bed, for those of who remember that bed, an off-white color to match the rest of the room. It is not an easy task, but he is being a great sport!

I added this picture so the grandparents can see the dresser we bought for the room. I will send updates of the nursery once it looks more like one and not a room in the middle of a destruction phase :)

I'm 25 Weeks!!

I'm 25 weeks now and for all those non-pregnant people who don't measure anything by weeks (I used to be one of them) I'm 6 months and 1 week. My belly continues to grow bigger and she continues to move all the time. One of my students walked up to me with a smile last week and was looking at my stomach and whispered, "Mrs. Cothran, I think you're baby is growing a lot, is it going to come out soon?" I love the comments that I receive from them and references they make to my "fat" belly or to the baby. The way their minds work is hilarious! Its been fun to have them watch me grow. I can now watch my stomach and see her moving all around. I can't tell yet what parts are moving, I just see big lumps here and there! I love it though and its truly a miracle to witness it.

We've decided on a name for our baby girl and I've told lots of people, but thought I'd put it on here:

Jennifer Kate Cothran

Jennifer obviously after our Jennifer and Kate after my Nana. We'll call her Kate and we actually call her by name all the time. Its neat to be able to do that. Well I'll update again in 2 weeks!
