Paradise

I first have to start with this picture because its just too cute and funny. She loves hats and I guess her bloomers seemed to be the best idea. She continued to wear this in the bathtub as well.

We returned on Monday from a wonderful trip in Mexico with Mike's company. All of his hard work paid off and he was rewarded with a sales trip. We flew through Houston to drop off Kate to stay with her grandparents for a few days and we were off! Our resort was a surprise and to say the least it was amazing. We stayed in the Mayan Rivieria at a gorgeous place that was so quiet and what the two of us needed. We found out later that this place is currently the number 1 resort in Mexico and we completely agreed :)! We met some great friends from Alabama to hang out with and we enjoyed zip-lining, lots of beach time and lots of relaxation in our very own villa! Sales trips are awesome! We returned to Houston Monday night to pick up Kate and got home at a very late hour only to get up and go to work the next morning. Kate is still not herself and still catching up on her sleep, but she had a wonderful time and it was a successful first trip for us as parents to be away from her for more than a night.

School is winding down as I only have 1 month to go, so the end is in sight :). Kate continues to do great in daycare and I walked in to pick her up today and they were all sitting at the table waiting on snack with the hands in their laps, amazing, and she was leaning on her friend Henry and talking to someone next to her. It is so cute to see her interacting at school since we don't get to see that very much. She continues to be a priss, drama queen and all-around hilarious child with a very very strong temper! God please grant us patience! Enjoy the pictures!

Yes, an outdoor bathtub! I want one in my own house!
A co-worker and now new friends of ours from AL

P.S. Notice there are no pictures of the beach. That is... picture we lost our digital camera, thankfully not our big camera, but our little one. There were also pictures of the pretty golf course that Mike played on, as well as huge iguanas. I will blame it on Mike though because he did leave it on the beach on our chair by mistake, but we didn't lose any pictures of Kate, so I wasn't too concerned. Oh well! :) You'll have to picture the gorgeous blue water on your own :).
