Our Shining Star

We just returned yesterday from home. We spent my spring break at home with Allison before she got married. She is such a fantastic sister that she set her wedding date around me so that we could both be home for the week. It was a special time for all of us to share together before she and Jay got hitched! :) Kate was a great traveler and thank the Lord for her tubes. She was a different child on the plane this time. We had a fun Easter together, even though we missed Daddy here at home. Kate was adorable Easter morning and she did really well sitting in big church and not being in the nursery. She is quite a wiggle worm right now! She also was adorable hunting for eggs.

Kate had her shining moment at the wedding though as she literally waddled/ran down the aisle with cracker in hand squealing and heading for mama up on the steps. Not two minutes before she had been screaming bloody murder so it was a miracle she made it down at all. It was so fun to see her pull it off! Allison was a gorgeous bride and the calmest one I've ever seen, but I'm not surprised by that :). Congrats Jay and Allie! We love you!!
