Back to School

I thought I might go ahead and give updates considering that school is starting tomorrow and what time I have now, I better take advantage of! Kate is becoming a little monkey now, crawling everywhere and pulling up to everything. Just last week she all of a sudden came home from school one day and was able to crawl with her belly off the ground and pull up to standing. She learned all these tricks in one day! She's awfully gifted we think :)! She also said her first word on Friday: Dada! All three of us were standing in front of the bathroom mirror after her bath and she LOVES to look at herself and all of sudden she says Dadada and then Dada again. We looked at each other and laughed because it was such a neat moment. Now, God must think He is funny because I carried her for 10 months, went through 20 hours of labor and the child looks like her Daddy and then says Dada first!!! I'm not jealous, I promise :)! Here are some pictures of her latest tricks, her first time in the big bathtub last night and one of her favorite things: playing with the vaccuum cords while I'm vacuuming. Not sure if that's childproof...

Just wanted to let you know that we were assured by a child development expert that "Dada" is simply easier to say than "Mama" and kids almost universally say Dada before Mama...don't take it personally MK ;) (I appreciated the reassurance...) Hope the transition back to work is gettin easier day by day.
