Mike has been begging me for days to update the blog, so I'm finally getting around to it. I think he likes looking at it more than anyone else :), even though he can see Kate when he comes home! She's definitely got her Daddy wrapped around her finger :)!

We got back from the beach a few days ago. We went with my family to Miramar Beach, Florida and stayed at the same house that we did last summer when I was super prego with Baby Kate. It was fun returning to the same place with her this year. We once again had the dogs + Cowboy who made 4 total. They get along really well though and I think they had just as much fun as we did. We had beautiful weather and a great time was had by all. Even Kate! She loved the pool and loved to skinny-dip! She got used to the ocean and by our last day there, she was enjoying the water a lot. I think she had the most fun though being entertained by Grandpa and Linny while sitting in her princess chair eating Puffs! We also had fun seeing Aunt Allison's beautiful ring and talking about her future wedding with Uncle Jay. We miss vacation already and after our LONG roadtrip to and from Florida, we needed another one! Kate was a trooper in the car though and she entertained herself very well. Tucker is always great in the car and he was a great distraction for her. Thank goodness!

The day we left...we were getting ready for a walk and I thought I might try out her sunglasses. They were so funny and they only stayed on long enough for the picture before she pulled them off and put them in her mouth. Needless to say, she will not tolerate those sunglasses!

One more thing...we went for Kate's 9 month check-up today and she was 18 lbs and 11 oz, the 50% for weight and she was 27 in., the 35% for height. Her head of course was 75%, but we all know the child has a head the size of a watermelon :)!
