Tired Child+Yucky Vegetables+Swatting Hand=BIG MESS

Our red-headed child, as she appears here, has decided that she hates peas, only slightly tolerates squash but loves sweet potatoes and loves to make a complete mess. This is our darling Kate at dinner the other night. I was attempting to trick her by sneaking in bites of peas and squash between the sweet potatoes, but the smart kid could not be fooled! She spit it out, hit the spoon with her hand and just completely wiped it all over herself. She even had it behind her knees! Welcome to eating with a baby I guess! :)
