I woke up this morning after sleeping a very long time because Kate gave me the wonderful gift of sleep last night :). Love those nights! I wanted to do a quick post before we head home for Christmas for a few weeks. Kate and I have her first plane ride very early Saturday morning to Texas and I am anxious and ready to get that over with and just get there. If anyone has any advice for me, bring it on...
Kate is smiling all the time and giggling and is so much fun to watch and play with. Here are a couple of new pics of her. If I don't get to do any posts before Christmas, I hope that each of you has a blessed holiday and gets to enjoy the comforts of home, family, friends and good food and most importantly, the love of our Savior.
A bookworm already...she's got her parent's genes for sure!

They're pretty easy on the plane at this age. I don't know if she takes a bottle or binky but if you can get her to take one for take off and landing, you're good to go. It will help her ears from clogging. Other than that, she should be content just being held for the few hours. It's when they get mobile that you have worry. You'll be able to check her stroller at the gate so getting around the airport shouldn't be too difficult. Good luck and have fun back at home! I don't get to go home for another week!
She'll be awesome on the plane - good tips above. Avery slept through her first plane ride; about the same age as Kate. Ooh, we must make a playdate for after you get home. I know you'll be swamped w/ everyone wanting to meet her:)
