Kate is 11 weeks old today! Wow! I wasn't sure I would make it past 11 days and look where we are :). She is a joy to watch as she smiles at us all the time, laughs and talks to us. Her favorite place in the house is her changing table where she lays there and smiles and laughs at the blank wall. We laugh and say that she's looking at her angels. Its so funny what can entertain a baby...I don't think as adults we find blank walls very interesting to stare at ;)! She also is entertaining herself these days with sucking on her hands. She is constantly putting them in her mouth, yet she hasn't figured out that sucking her thumb or fingers can actually soothe her. She still loves her pacifier and we actually had to introduce her to a new kind last week. She acted like it tasted bad at first, but after mom shoved it into her a mouth enough, she decided to take it and now loves this new one.
We had a great Thanksgiving here in Richmond with friends. We missed our families, but know that we'll see them very soon. Enjoy the new pictures of our darling girl!
