Another new parent moment...

I had to share another "moment" I had being a new mom and not having a clue :). I went to Target to just get a couple of things the other day (by the way, just running in to get something at the store has taken on a whole new meaning...) and I get Kate out of the car and put her car seat on the stroller and stroll in. Well I walk in and think to myself, 'Wait...where do I put the things I'm going to buy??'. I obviously hadn't thought about the fact that you cannot get a cart and push a stroller at the same time nor can you carry a basket. SO for other new moms or future moms, you will have moments like these, A LOT of them because your whole world has changed and there are just some things you don't even think about! So just picture me walking around Target holding a pack of Red Bull (for tired dad) and big thing of diapers, cards and crackers. I probably looked like I was shoplifting because I had stuffed the diapers under her car seat :). I know there will be many more moments like this, hope this one makes you smile!

PS I weighed Kate the other day and she weighed 9 pounds...yea, I knew we had a chubbers on our hands!! She looks great and is obviously growing since she gained almost a pound and a half in 2 weeks!

I'm sure you're not alone! I've seen many people use their stroller as a grocery cart in Kroger! Glad you're enjoying your little girl so much!

You are a riot. Red Bull! I bet your checker, if she was a woman, could sympathize! It gets faster to run in, just takes a while. You look so fabulous!

It definitely gets easier! It took awhile for me to realize the carseat carrier hooks to the top of grocery baskets. Once I figured that out, it was much easier to just "run" to the store to grab a few things.

It's a little harder now with three boys but I'm sure I'll figure something out...or just get used to it. One of the two.

You do look great and Kate is gorgeous!!
