5 Weeks Old! WOW

Hard to believe that its been 5 weeks since Kate was born! She got a visit from her Papa last week and she has now gotten to meet all of her grandparents! We had a great visit with him and Mike got some extra help in our backyard before winter comes. Kate loved sleeping on him and she always seemed to calm down in his arms. Thanks for the visit Papa!
Here are some things that Kate loves doing and is able to do now:
  • Smiling at her parents (LOVE THOSE DIMPLES!)
  • Walks with mama and Tucker (who is actually very good walking with the stroller and after getting run over twice by it, he is now afraid to walk in front of it which makes it easier to walk with him)
  • Waking to nurse once a night (except she seems to have fallen in a bad spot these last couple of nights!)
  • Lifting her head on her own and holding it there while on her tummy
  • Batting at objects in front of her
  • Cooing (Mike thinks its funny to actually 'coo' at her and he sounds like a pigeon. I told him that when they say that babies coo, they don't actually mean 'coo'...he obviously thought he was being funny :))
Wide awake!Sleeping peacefully
Time with Tucker
Tucker thought for just a minute as he fell down on Kate's pillow that this might be a nice place for him to rest...

More time with Tucker
If you can't tell already, Tucker likes to be in the mix!
Conked out!
Happy Halloween pumpkin head!
We are ready for fall!Tummy time isn't so bad anymore (only if you leave me there a couple of minutes!)

We have a little one of our own- and they sure do have a way of blessing your life don't they?!
Hope things continue to go smoothly for you guys-
Take care- and congrats again!
