Getting ready for Christmas & the Polar Express!

Kate has really enjoyed getting ready for Christmas this year from decorating the tree to listening to Christmas music, to learning more about the baby Jesus in church and His birthday and Mary and Joseph. She has loved the lights too and visiting Santa was also fun, except she was very shy, nothing new for her though! She told him exactly what she wanted: socks. How funny is this?! This is what she has told everyone when they ask what she is asking for this year. What child wants socks?? :) We also had a very fun time in Grapevine at the Polar Express with our friends. It is so fun to be able to do these fun things with dear friends. We tried to get a group pic of them, but it just wasn't happening :).

Now we are waiting patiently for our baby boy to arrive. I am 8 days out and feeling ready. I'm hoping he will join us before Christmas, but only God knows. It has been a very special season indeed waiting for this 'gift' and it warms our hearts in more ways than one. Here's wishing all of you a very blessed Christmas.
