A Visit Home
We got back a few days ago and are trying to get organized from being gone so many days. We were grateful to have so much time at home with our families and friends. We had such a great time and were very busy. Before we knew it, it was time to pack up and return home again. Our trip started with Uncle Stephen's graduation from UNT. We were so proud of him and had fun celebrating. Kate also had fun staying at Papa's and she loved his recliner. She rocked herself in it and giggled. We also visited Fort Worth for a few hours to see friends and were able to see all the new construction at TCU. After being in Denton, Kate and I went to my parent's house and Dad stayed to work in Dallas for the week. Kate had fun in The Woodlands trying out the pool (if I could have only taped her in her adorable swimsuit with her thunder thighs..absolutely precious!!!) and the swing. We also went to Mimi's and Kate had her first encounter with a horse. She probably thought it was a big Tucker! Our week ended with my good friend Sarah coming in town, we have known each other since kindergarten, so it was very fun to have her there and meet Kate. Aunt Allison and Jay came in town as well for the baptism. Uncle Stephen was in Hawaii, so we didn't feel too bad for him that he wasn't there :)!! The baptism went really well and Kate stared at our minister the whole time. We had her christened with Paige, they were born a day apart, so that was really special to share that day with the Tarros. All in all, it was a wonderful trip! Kate is a super traveler and seems to bounce back pretty easily, so we are blessed! Enjoy the pics!
