Here it is...Kate's room! It is ready for her arrival...now are her parent's ready?! We are ready to meet her sometime here in the next 5 weeks, but are experiencing the same feelings I think most people get when they reach the end of the pregnancy...excitement, anxiety, fear and wonder at how we'll be able to do this, but I have complete faith that we'll handle it all (with the help of my mom and Mike's of course here in the beginning!). We had so much fun over these last few months gathering items for her room. Our favorite is the crib of course and we waited many, many months for its arrival and it exceeded our expectations. Her bumper has wild animals on it, as does her mobile, and I hope she is as much of an animal lover as we are. Mike has been hastily hanging things in there so that I could go ahead and take some pictures to share with everyone. The hardest thing ever were those letters above her crib and for future reference to anyone thinking about hanging them, either buy double-stick tape or have a mathematician workout the measurements. Thank goodness Mike is so good with numbers. If it had been left to me, I think there would have been tiny little holes all over the wall! We are so happy with how it all turned out and now its only missing one tiny thing...Kate!!

Ohhh.. I love the nursery! The pictures are just awesome and the bedding is great; maybe she can go on her first safari with Cole! Congrats on being so organized- y'all are awesome!
Aww...Kate's room looks great! She's going to love it!
The room is adorable and the crib is beautiful! She has such a sweet and cozy place to come home too! It's so funny you mention about hanging the letters (looks like you have the same ones we do from PBK?) Scott had the HARDEST time hanging them, and we finally went for the industrial double sided tape! I'm still working on a couple crafts for baby Kate, and I promise to have them there soon!
love the nursery and love the rug! i am on the prowl for a rug for paige's room...did you get that at pottery barn kids?
I love Kate's room- isn't it amazing that a little girl will live there?!!
We can hardly wait to meet Miss Kate! Love, Susan and Jeff
I love it!!! It looks beautiful, already filled with so much love & joy!
Mary Kyle - Kate's new room is adorable, and you look amazing at 36 weeks, not that I'm surprised. I've been getting updates through my mom and it sounds like you and Mike are doing great. Sending you all our best wishes for a happy, healthy arrival of your newest addition. (Jake, Caleb and I are settling in at home together, so I can certainly relate to all of the feelings you wrote about here...). Lots of love,
Kate (France) Smiles
Looks great! I saw that bedding in the catalog and loved it. It looks like such a nice calm room -- perfect for Kate. Can't wait to start on Baby Sevier's -- this gives me some inspiration!
