A Baby Weekend in Fort Worth

After 2 years of not visiting Fort Worth together, Mike and I finally got to make the trip home together (and yes I say home because hopefully one day it will be home again :). We had a great weekend seeing lots of friends and family, seeing Fort Worth, eating at Joe T.'s and having 2 showers! On Friday night, there was a shower/fertility party as Mike called it at Allison's new house. It was really fun to see my friends and Mike's as well and I think a good time was had by all. I got some great gifts and LOVE that TCU cheerleader outfit. Kate will sport that when she joins the world! On Saturday morning, Mike's mom and family had a wonderful shower for me and I don't have any pictures yet, but I also got lots of cute things that I'm excited about. We also got to see our dear friends the Miller family and have a graduation lunch and that night we got to eat at our beloved Joe T's. It was a packed weekend and needless to say we were exhausted when we got back, especially when my car wouldn't start at the airport! FUN! I loved seeing so many friends and Mike and I agreed that we both miss Fort Worth terribly!!!

I just realized that poor Mike is not in any of the pictures...guess he better get ready for the attention to be on this baby :) he he
